Submissions
- Papers must be written either in English or Spanish languages and comply with a 6 to 8 page limit. Articles submitted in Spanish should also include an English-version (translation) of their title, abstract and keywords.
- Papers must follow the IEEE style for Conference Proceedings (see Word and Latex templates here, overleaf template here).
- A double-anonymous (double-blind) review process will be followed. Thus, papers submitted for evaluation must not reveal authors’ identification (name, email, affiliation). All references to authors’ prior work should be in the third person. Anonymize any information that could identify you, such as the location, course, or project involved in the study. This information should only be included in the camera-ready version of accepted papers.
- By submitting to JOCICI 2026, authors acknowledge that they are aware of and agree to be bound by the IEEE Submission and Peer Review Policies, which include the disclosure of content generated by artificial intelligence (AI) in the acknowledgments section of the article.
Conference Attendance Expectation
If a submission is accepted, at least one author of the paper is required to register for and attend the conference to present the paper. The presentation is expected to be delivered in person, and encouraged to be given in Spanish (even if the paper is in English).
Publication and Indexing
To ensure publication of an accepted paper, at least one of the authors must be registered by April 10th, 2026, and the paper must comply with the IEEE template and page-limit. Additionally, all recommended changes must be addressed by the authors before they submit the camera-ready version. No more than one paper per registration will be published. Accepted papers will be published in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library (subject to meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements).
